Profile
French-born and currently based in Milan, Alix Doussot is a designer working at the intersection of product and spatial design. Her practice is driven by a commitment to inclusivity, sustainability, and social responsibility using design as a tool to foster equity, accessibility, and environmental awareness.
With a cross-disciplinary approach rooted in human-centered design, her work responds to contemporary challenges with thoughtful, context-sensitive solutions that serve both people and planet. Whether designing systems for accessibility, rethinking healthcare textiles, or shaping environments for public use, each project reflects a deep engagement with social impact and cultural relevance.
Design Approach
The practice places people at the center, balancing functionality, emotional resonance, and long-term sustainability. Creativity, empathy, and environmental ethics are key drivers in shaping each design whether for objects, spaces, or systems. The goal is not just to meet user needs, but to contribute meaningfully to broader societal and ecological well-being.
